In this mode you can match Canvas assignments to results annotations and grades in a Ladok module.

Note!

To use results annotations, you must first create them in Ladok before you transfer from Canvas. More information is available in the Ladok Handbook on the intranet.

Configure the transfer

Choose course instance (results annotations in Ladok are created per instance). If you only have a single instance in your course room, a selection is not available here. To avoid having to transfer multiple times for multiple instances of the same course code, use the feature “Connect annotations to more” when creating results annotations in Ladok.
Select Ladok module to transfer to.
Click the Select button to start mapping Canvas assignments to results annotations and/or grades in Ladok.

Make selections for grade and examination date. If this should not be included in your current transfer (only annotations), you can leave these (4A-4B) blank.
1. Select Canvas assignment that should be used for grade on the Ladok module.
2. Select Grade date to use the date when a teacher entered the grade in Canvas as examination date in Ladok. Select Submission date to instead use the students submission date as examination date in Ladok. Leave blank (-) if you want to set the examination date manually.
Select Canvas assignments whose result should be transferred to each results annotation in Ladok. These can be left blank for manual input in the next step.
1. If one or more annotations should not be included in the current transfer, you can check the Exclude box to avoid displaying to many (empty) columns.
Click List students.

Prepare the transfer

Select students that should be included in the transfer.
1. If all students should be included, click All.
2. If only graded students (students with a value in the column Grade in Ladok) should be included, click Graded.
3. If only students with at least one annotation should be included, click Annotated.
4. If only certain students should be included, check the box on each row.

The tool displays pairs of columns for each Canvas assignment (blue background) and Ladok equivalent.
1. If the Canvas assignment data is compatible, the Ladok column will be filled automatically. But you can always edit manually.
2. If you only want to transfer results annotations, you leave the grade column on its default value (-- Select grade).

If examination date was selected in step 4, you can skip this step. Otherwise:
1. You can set the same date for all selected students (in step 7) at the top and then click Set date.
2. Or set individual dates by editing each row.

Execute the transfer

Select which status the results should have in Ladok after the transfer. Drafts or Marked as ready. Marking as ready requires a complete data set with values for both grade and examination date. Drafts have no such limitations.
Click the Transfer button.

The number of students included in the transfer is displayed. Execute the transfer by clicking the button Transfer.
1. If you are transferring with the status Marked as ready, you must first select at least one examiner to notify (when the transfer is done, the examiner will be notified in Ladok and via e-mail).

Confirmation of transfer

Once the transfer to Ladok is finished, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to the reporting teacher. The name of the sender of that e-mail is Sunet Canvas. In the e-mail you can see a summary of the transferred data, but no student names or civic numbers. However, if any result transfer fails, you will be able to see the name of that student so that you more easily can follow up.

When this e-mail has been received, you can see the results in Ladok or by reopening the tool in Canvas.
