The interactive anti-plagiarism guide is available for use in Canvas. It is here used in a slightly different way compared to the old learning management system PingPong. You must now pull the module into your course, it is not publicly available for anyone to access outside of a Canvas course room. To start using the guide, please follow these steps. For updating the anti-plagiarism guide, see further down on this page.

Go to the resource Interactive Anti-Plagiarism Guide in Commons (alternatively, you can search for Interactive Anti-Plagiarism Guide in Commons, and filter for Jönköping University).
Click the Import/Download button at the right.
Select the course(s) in which you will use the guide.
- If you find it difficult to distinguish the same course from different terms, please check out Edit course name.
Click Import into course.
Go to your course room and click Modules in the course menu.
Check to see that the publish status for each item suits your needs.

The quizzes

The quizzes are practice quizzes per default, which means results will not appear in the Gradebook. Neither for teachers nor students. If you would like to change this you must click each individual quiz and then Edit. From there you can change from Practice quiz to Graded quiz. You can also set access dates and more, just as any regular assignment/quiz. Other default settings for these quizzes are: no due date, unlimited attempts, keep highest score, no time limit and hide answers.

Updates from Commons

If you have imported the anti-plagiarism guide from Commons to a course you will be able to see notifications of new version available, while in Commons. Notifications will not automatically be displayed on the dashboard or sent via e-mail. You must visit Commons to see these notifications.

Once in Commons, you can quickly pick courses that should be updated with the latest version.

If you have copied the anti-plagiarism guide from another course (and not directly from Commons), the updating of the content works differently from above. You must first delete the old version of the guide from your course and then head to Commons to import the new version.

Updates to the anti-plagiarism guide should not be applied to previous courses.
